Our marks, criterion by criterion
Price per GB
4.0Fair without being the cheapest: 5 GB over 30 days in France for €9.60, 1 GB for €2.50. Daily unlimited starts at €3.50 in France.
Coverage
4.4184 countries in the esimrat catalogue, 5G where the local network offers it. No regional zone found in our feed.
App
4.3Yesim app on iOS and Android: purchase, install, help chat, Ycoins balance and virtual numbers. One reviewer notes a confusing display of remaining data.
Support
4.3Chat 24/7 in the app and on the site, plus support@yesim.app. Yesim claims an average five-minute reply; reviewers confirm quick fixes.

Flexibility
4.5From 500 MB for one day to 30 GB over 30 days, unlimited from 1 to 30 days, tethering included and a virtual number as an option.
Technical note
An overview of Yesim's performance across 6 criteria
How we score
This score is eSIMrat's own, not an average of customer reviews. It covers six criteria we assess ourselves from the catalogue's real coverage, the prices we record, and test purchases and installs. We earn a commission on sales made through our links: it changes neither the score nor the order of our rankings, which stay sorted by price per GB.
The eSIMrat verdict
Yesim specialises in daily unlimited plans: in 184 countries you pay for days rather than gigabytes, from €3.50 a day in France, with tethering included and a chat that answers around the clock. The app adds an optional virtual number and a refund guarantee within 30 days as long as the eSIM is not activated. The thing to know: unlimited runs through partner operators who may cut speed after a few gigabytes, and the fixed-volume plans are not the cheapest in our comparison.
Good for
- Short unlimited stays, billed per day
- Travellers who want a virtual number on top of data
- Last-minute purchases, with a chat that answers 24/7
Less suited if
- You compare on price per GB for a month-long stay (→ Roamify)
- You want unlimited without throttling after a few GB (→ Holafly)
- You want the best value per GB with an eSIM that is simple to install, an easy app and human support 24/7 (→ voilà eSIM)
- You want a multi-country regional plan (→ Ubigi)
Pros and cons
Pros
- Daily unlimited in most countries, from €3.50 a day in France
- Chat 24/7 in the app, average reply announced at five minutes
- Refund within 30 days as long as the eSIM is not activated
- Tethering included
- Optional virtual number, euro prices, Ycoins cashback
- ESIMRAT code at -15%, one of the highest rates in our comparison
Cons
- Unlimited throttled by some partner operators after a few GB
- Fixed-volume plans pricier per GB than Roamify or Esimzon
- A technical problem must be reported within the hour to qualify for a refund
- Refunds under €10 paid in Ycoins, not to the card

How to install your eSIM with Yesim
Buy your plan
Buy on yesim.app or in the Yesim app (iOS and Android). The profile installs from the app or via QR code.
Pick your destination
Choose your destination and your data plan.
Scan the QR code
Pay and scan the QR code to install the eSIM.
Get connected
Turn the connection on when you land. That's it.
If something goes wrong
Check that your phone is eSIM-compatible and unlocked, and stay on Wi-Fi during setup. If it fails, open the chat from the Help screen of the Yesim app (24/7) or write to support@yesim.app.
Turn Airplane mode on and off again. Check that the eSIM from Yesim is selected for mobile data in your settings. Turn data roaming on. Restart the phone. If nothing changes, switch network selection to manual and pick another operator.
Look at per-app usage in your phone's settings to spot the hungry apps. Turn off automatic updates and high-resolution video playback. Your remaining data shows in your Yesim account, or in its app when there is one.
The eSIM profile is available in the Yesim app after purchase, and so is the QR code. If nothing shows, the in-app chat or support@yesim.app sorts it out.
What users say
Reviews synthesised from the App Store, Google Play and online feedback. We do not republish reviews word for word: we summarise the trend.
- ★★★★☆Trustpilot
Problem fixed quickly by support, which offered a solution from the first exchange.
- ★★★★★Trustpilot
Simple setup and pricing judged reasonable, with no bad surprise.
- ★★★★☆Trustpilot
Smooth activation and good reception, but the app shows used and remaining data in a confusing way.
- ★☆☆☆☆Trustpilot
Unlimited plan heavily throttled after 3 GB, to the point of making navigation apps unusable. The unlimited advertising is called misleading.
