Technical note
An overview of eSIMNEXA's performance across 6 criteria
How we score
This score is eSIMrat's own, not an average of customer reviews. It covers six criteria we assess ourselves from the catalogue's real coverage, the prices we record, and test purchases and installs. We earn a commission on sales made through our links: it changes neither the score nor the order of our rankings, which stay sorted by price per GB.
The eSIMrat verdict
eSIMNEXA is the second brand of Esimzon's publisher, with a finer grid (3, 7, 15 or 30 days for each volume) and tethering stated in writing on most plans. Across its 80 countries the price per GB is excellent and the network is named before purchase. But 80 countries is not many: outside Europe, North America and South-East Asia there is often nothing. No app either, and dollar pricing. Pick it if your destination is listed and you compare per GB; skip it for a round-the-world trip.
Good for
- Europe, the US, Japan, Thailand: the 80 covered countries, at the best price per GB
- Short trips: 1, 3 and 7-day plans
- People who tether a laptop
- Heavy users: daily unlimited or 300 GB over 15 days
Less suited if
- Your destination is not among its 80 countries (→ Roamify, 265 countries)
- You want an eSIM that is simple to install and an easy app, excellent value in euros and human support 24/7 (→ voilà eSIM)
- You are away more than 30 days (→ Ubigi, up to 360 days)
- You want calls and texts included (→ Yesim)
Pros and cons
Pros
- Price per GB among the lowest on the comparator (from 0.09 €)
- Tethering stated on most plans
- Local network named on every plan (Bouygues and Orange, Movistar, KDDI, AT&T)
- Fine grid: every volume in 3, 7, 15 or 30 days
- Instant top-up without reinstalling a profile
- Refund possible up to 15% of data used
Cons
- Only 80 countries: the smallest coverage of the providers with a feed
- No mobile app
- Prices set in dollars: variable euro total, possible bank fees
- 30 days maximum per plan
- No Trustpilot reviews: no customer track record

How to install your eSIM with eSIMNEXA
Buy your plan
Buy on esimnexa.com (no app). The QR code and activation details arrive by email right after payment.
Pick your destination
Choose your destination and your data plan.
Scan the QR code
Pay and scan the QR code to install the eSIM.
Get connected
Turn the connection on when you land. That's it.
If something goes wrong
Check that your phone is eSIM-compatible and unlocked, with a stable Internet connection during setup. If the QR fails, enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code manually: they are in the order email. Then the live chat (24/7) or support@esimnexa.com.
Turn Airplane mode on and off again. Check that the eSIM from eSIMNEXA is selected for mobile data in your settings. Turn data roaming on. Restart the phone. If nothing changes, switch network selection to manual and pick another operator.
Look at per-app usage in your phone's settings to spot the hungry apps. Turn off automatic updates and high-resolution video playback. Your remaining data shows in your eSIMNEXA account, or in its app when there is one.
Check your spam folder: eSIMNEXA emails the QR code as soon as payment clears. It is also in your account dashboard on esimnexa.com. Otherwise, the live chat or support@esimnexa.com.
