Réglo Mobile eSIM: how to get it and activate it (2026)
Looking for a Réglo Mobile eSIM? Straight answer: yes, E.Leclerc's mobile carrier does offer eSIM, but not the way you might expect. You cannot subscribe to a plan directly with a virtual SIM card: the eSIM is only available as a replacement for an existing physical SIM card, on request through customer service. A "yes, but" worth knowing before you sign up.
In this rundown, we walk through the whole journey: the actual conditions to get an eSIM at Réglo Mobile (existing customer, call to customer service, QR code), the price of the card swap (free the first time, paid afterwards), step-by-step activation on iPhone and Android, the compatible plans checked on the official website (20 GB, 100 GB, 200 GB, 300 GB, in 4G+ and 5G on the SFR network), smartphone compatibility, and the limits of this system when travelling, with the travel eSIM in Dual SIM as the alternative.
Dated prices, verified procedure, traps to avoid: everything you need to know in 2026.

Does Réglo Mobile offer eSIM?
Yes, but with a big restriction: at Réglo Mobile, the eSIM only exists as a replacement for a physical SIM card that is already active. When subscribing to a plan, online or in an E.Leclerc store, you always receive a physical triple-cut SIM card by post. Only once you are a customer can you ask to switch your line to an eSIM.
That in-between position sets E.Leclerc's carrier apart from both ends of the French market. On one side, the big networks (Orange, SFR, Bouygues Telecom, Free) let you subscribe directly with a virtual SIM card, activated the same day via QR code. On the other, some budget virtual carriers still offer no eSIM option at all: that is the case of La Poste Mobile, whose situation we covered in our La Poste Mobile eSIM article. Réglo Mobile has gone halfway.
Another thing to know: the carrier keeps very quiet about it. The official website has no page dedicated to eSIM, and the contact form only offers "Micro SIM / Nano SIM" topics. The option does exist, listed in the price sheet, but it goes exclusively through a conversation with customer service. If you are looking for a 100% online journey, you will not find it here.
How do you get a Réglo Mobile eSIM?
The procedure takes three steps, but you must already be a customer. Step 1: contact Réglo Mobile customer service on 728 from your Réglo line (free call) or 0 970 806 970 from a landline (local call rate), Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 9 pm. Step 2: ask for your physical SIM card to be replaced by an eSIM. Step 3: you receive an activation QR code to scan with your smartphone, and your line switches to the virtual card.
On price, the SIM card change rule applies: the first replacement is free, the following ones are billed €15, according to the carrier's current price sheet. In other words, moving from your physical card to the eSIM costs nothing the first time; billing kicks in for any further change (new phone, lost profile).
And if you are not a customer yet? You have to go through the physical card stage: subscribe to the Réglo Mobile plan online or in store, receive the triple-cut SIM card by post, activate the line, then ask customer service to switch to the eSIM. A slightly absurd detour at a time when half the market activates lines in five minutes, but it is the only path in 2026.
One last limit to know before calling: the Réglo Mobile eSIM is designed for smartphones. Cellular smartwatches, which require a specific line-sharing option, are not supported.
Procedure, numbers and opening hours checked on 20 August 2026 on the official Réglo Mobile website; card-change pricing terms from the official price sheet.
How do you activate a Réglo Mobile eSIM on iPhone and Android?
Once the QR code arrives, activation follows the standard journey of any eSIM. The universal prerequisite: be connected to Wi-Fi, and have the QR code displayed on a different screen from the phone that has to scan it.
On iPhone: open Settings, then Mobile Data, then Add eSIM and Use QR code. The camera scans the code, the Réglo Mobile profile downloads, and your line appears in the list. All that remains is to check that this line is selected for calls, texts and mobile data.
On Android: head to Settings, then Network and internet (or Connections depending on the brand), then SIM and Add eSIM. Scanning the QR code installs the profile; then enable the line and pick it for mobile data. If the scan fails, manually entering the codes provided by customer service gives the same result.
Two precautions are worth it. First, never delete the eSIM profile to "fix" a connection problem: a deleted profile does not reinstall itself, and you will have to go back through customer service, potentially with a €15 card-change fee attached. Second, if your line was on a physical SIM card, that card is deactivated as soon as the eSIM takes over: no point keeping it in the tray.
The rat's advice: Screenshot the QR code and the activation codes as soon as you receive them, and store the capture in an offline album. The day you switch phones on the other side of the world, that screenshot will save you a call to 0 970 806 970 in the middle of the French night.
Which Réglo Mobile plans work with an eSIM?
Every plan from the carrier is treated the same way: the card, physical or virtual, changes neither the price nor the content of the offer. In our survey of 20 August 2026 on the official website, the Réglo Mobile range had four commitment-free plans, all with unlimited calls and texts: 20 GB in 4G+ at €6.90 per month, then 100 GB at €9.90, 200 GB at €11.90 and 300 GB at €14.90, the last three in 5G.
On the network side, no mystery: Réglo Mobile is the virtual carrier of the E.Leclerc stores and runs on SFR coverage, in 4G+ or 5G depending on the plan. Reception quality is therefore that of the SFR network in your area, no more, no less. The carrier also highlights its France-based customer service and its network of more than 600 E.Leclerc centres for in-person support.
The positioning is clearly budget: at comparable volumes, the range sits among the most aggressive offers on the French market. The flip side is the bare-bones service: no direct eSIM subscription, and fewer options than at the big networks. Up to you to decide whether the eSIM journey, one call and a few days of patience, is worth the monthly saving.

Réglo Mobile abroad: the limits and the travel eSIM alternative
Like any French plan, a Réglo Mobile plan includes roaming in Europe: your gigabytes work across the European Union at no extra cost, within the fair-use limit of the offer. Outside Europe is where things get complicated, with roaming billed at full price or through specific top-ups, as with most budget carriers. For a trip to Bali, for example, our comparison of eSIMs for Indonesia ranks six offers based on price per GB.
That is where the carrier's eSIM status gets interesting, but the other way round: almost every eSIM compatible smartphone handles Dual SIM. In practice, you keep your Réglo Mobile line active for calls, texts and bank codes, and you add a prepaid travel eSIM that provides data on site, at local rates. No cancellation, no paperwork with Réglo: the two lines coexist, each with its role.
The travel eSIM market has a dozen serious players: Airalo, Holafly, Saily, Ubigi, Nomad, Yesim or voilà, each with its own positioning. To place the styles, voilà pushes value for money with final displayed prices, an eSIM that is easy to install with an easy-to-use app, and human customer support 24/7; others bet on unlimited data or multi-country plans. Our comparator reviews these offers destination by destination, with hand-checked prices ranked by real price per GB.
One last reflex before departure: make sure your phone is compatible. Our eSIM compatible phones tool lists more than 230 devices, and the *#06# test gives you the answer in thirty seconds.
The rat's advice: If your Réglo line is still on a physical card and you are leaving soon, do not request the eSIM switch right before departure. Keep your physical card for the French line, and put the travel eSIM on the free eSIM slot: you save the call to customer service, and you keep your single free card change for the day you really need it.
